Updates

  • As discussed at the AGM and in follow up notices, work to replace the sagged and damaged sanitary line below the East building (units 100 to 111) will be completed between May 23rd and June 4th (estimated timeline).

    • General Contracting and concrete subsrate replacement - by Abris Construction.

    • Replacement of the existing cast iron with fire rated ABS from unit 100 to unit 107 - by Eddytime Mechanical.

    • Sleeving the cast iron from unit 107 to the North sanitary manhole by Terraburst.

  • The following represents the targeted timeline for Spring maintenance items:

    • Mar 31st - Roof Drain and Scupper Cleaning.

    • Mar 31st - Storage of picklemix bins.

    • Apr 1st - Grounds Cleaning (dethatch/leaf removal) .

    • Apr 4th - Parking Lot Cleaning.

    • Apr 9th (est.) - Tree Pruning.

    • May 1st - Hose bib startup.

    • May 1st - Irrigation Startup.

  • In support of community and celebrating our great nation, a community BBQ is planned for July 1st.

    Castor Condos will be donating BBQ supplies in appreciation for the owners and residents.

  • As all residents know - the visitor parking at Kelvin Grove is quite limited.

    As a reminder owners and residents are not permitted to park in visitor parking at any time. A request has been released to form a visitor parking patrol for enforcement. If you would like to volunteer please contact Info@CastorCondos.com.

    The board is also investigating alterate parking options with adjacent properties to promote to residents who have multiple vehicles.
